About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Cumming, Georgia.
Schedule
- Duration: 16 weeks (posting indicates 13-week contract position in description)
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Monday to Friday, 7 PM to 7 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition post-operatively
- Administer medications and assist with patient comfort and recovery needs
- Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with recent experience in Recovery
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Recovery nursing
- AHA BLS certification required
- Must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
