Job Details Required Qualifications: Minimum one year of experience; graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition; for post-acute settings, New York State certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED); for acute settings, registration as a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), verified through primary source verification. Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience; master's degree; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; pediatric nutrition experience. Schedule: Day shift, 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Additional Information: Responsibilities include screening and assessing patients based on level of care, determining nutritional needs, conducting follow-up care, obtaining food history and preferences from patients or their families, interpreting pertinent laboratory and social information, providing nutrition education, documenting diet instructions and patient understanding, and modifying patient menus as needed.
