About the role

Dietitian (DIET) position responsible for leading dietary and food service operations within a healthcare setting. The role oversees menu planning, food preparation, sanitation, equipment, and departmental operations while providing hands-on leadership across all active shifts, including scheduled weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises dietary and related food service functions, including therapeutic and non-therapeutic diet and menu planning.
• Oversees the proper storage and preparation of food supplies and equipment, as well as the maintenance of food service areas according to sanitation standards.
• Plans and monitors the departmental budget.
• Provides operational oversight and leadership for 9 dietary staff members across all active shifts, including scheduled weekends.
• Requires a hands-on approach, including occasional coverage during critical staffing gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Food Services or Certified Dietary Manager certification.
• 2 years of experience as a Dietary Manager in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the healthcare food service industry.

Schedule

Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
