Position Summary

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide one-to-one behavioral support services to students within a school-based setting under the direction of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). This role focuses on implementing individualized educational and behavioral strategies that support student success academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Responsibilities

  • Implement student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA strategies with fidelity
  • Serve as a liaison between teachers and educational and behavioral support teams to support classroom and school routines
  • Provide one-to-one behavioral support services to students in educational settings
  • Accurately collect, graph, and maintain student behavioral data
  • Utilize QBS Safety Care de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques when necessary for safety
  • Attend and participate in individual and group supervision sessions to maintain BACB compliance requirements
  • Support students in achieving behavioral, social, and educational goals
  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Education: Required - Associate’s degree or higher
  • Licenses & Certifications: Required - Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Skills

  • Knowledge of ABA strategies and behavior intervention techniques
  • Strong empathy and understanding of developmental stages and student behavioral needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational and behavioral support teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills
  • Ability to physically support students and participate in active classroom environments
