Travel Rapid Response RN - $3,260 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a travel nursing assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The position starts October 12, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 48 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provides age‑appropriate care for children or adolescents with physical and mental disabilities and/or acute and chronic medical and surgical conditions.
• Provides comprehensive, age‑appropriate care to patients aged approximately 30 days to 18 years.
• Documents patient symptoms and medical history and provides bedside nursing care to children on the floor.
• Draws blood, administers medication, and gives childhood vaccinations.
• Assists pediatrician during patient examinations.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• PALS certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care pediatric setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
