About the role
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Rapid Response team in North Charleston, SC. This is a 13-week contract position on the night shift (19:00 - 07:00), with 3 - 12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and be comfortable managing ventilated patients while providing exceptional bedside care.
Responsibilities
- Care for up to 1-3 ICU patients with a focus on high-acuity cases.
- Administer advanced treatments including CRRT, and manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
- Perform necessary procedures including post-operative care for CABG, use of ventilators, and neuro procedures.
- Utilize Meditech for documentation and reporting.
- Participate in floating assignments as needed to ensure patient care standards are met.
- Patient handoff via bedside shift report.
Requirements
- 36 months of RN experience, including at least 1 year in an ICU setting.
- Previous travel nursing experience, preferably in a Meditech facility.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
- Proficient in reading telemetry strips and administering respiratory treatments.
- BSN preferred; advanced certifications (TNCC) are a plus.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
