Travel Rapid Response RN - $2,085 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Danville, Virginia. This is a 13‑week travel assignment starting 11/10/2026, requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the position.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
