Travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray - $1,630 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a brand-new freestanding ER in Groton, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting January 25, 2027, with 24 hours per week (three 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM). One opening available.

Responsibilities

• Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art freestanding ER setting
• Perform upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging
• Perform mobile/surgical and C-arm procedures
• Float between two campuses located 30–40 minutes apart with advance notice
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday (EOW/EOH)
• Use Epic for charting and PACS for imaging
• May work alone at one campus depending on shift, requiring a full 12-hour shift without a 30-minute break
• Remain onsite for the full shift even during downtime when working alone
• Image both adult and pediatric patients

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification
• Massachusetts Radiology License (if applicable)
• BLS certification
• Prior travel assignment experience
• Documented pediatric imaging experience in a complex medical center
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with mobile/surgical and C-arm procedures
• Ability to perform upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging
• Must provide 2 references, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Pass/fail EKG test required for consideration
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility

Qualifications

• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Must be a well-rounded technologist comfortable imaging both adult and pediatric patients

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Three 8-hour shifts per week (24 hours/week)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float between two campuses 30–40 minutes apart with advance notice
• May require 12-hour shift without a 30-minute break when working alone at a campus

Pay

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 24.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
