Travel Radiology Technologist position in Lafayette, Indiana.

About the role

This is a travel assignment for a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in radiology within a short-term acute care facility.

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 10 hours, days (alternating 07:30–18:00 and 06:30–17:00 schedules)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Locals accepted; in-state rate available for eligible local travelers
  • Pending state license accepted if already applied

Responsibilities

  • Perform interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures, including STEMI cases
  • Scrub experience required for TAVR, Watchman, and ablation procedures
  • Maintain sterile field during procedures
  • Operate and set up specialized equipment, including Siemens X-Ray systems
  • Monitor and record hemodynamic data
  • Assist with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker/AICD insertion, and other interventional techniques
  • Respond to on-call requirements (10–12 call shifts per month, 30-minute response time, 12–14 hour call duration)
  • Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 months of experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • ARRT(R) certification (required)
  • ACLS certification (required)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Experience with the following procedures and skills:
    • Interventional cardiac catheterization
    • STEMI management
    • TAVR, Watchman, and ablation procedures
    • Hemodynamic monitoring
    • Angioplasty, stent placement, and rotablator atherectomy
    • Pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming
    • Siemens X-Ray systems (preferred)
  • Ability to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays
  • Must work a minimum of one winter holiday during assignment
  • License must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses acceptable if permanent license application is submitted
  • Two supervisor references required
  • SSN and DOB required at time of submission

  • Call Requirements:
    • 10–12 call shifts per month
    • 30-minute response time
    • Call duration: 12–14 hours (begins at shift completion or 5 PM on non-working days)
  • Guaranteed Hours Options:
    • 40 hours per week (4 × 10-hour shifts or 5 × 8-hour shifts)
    • 36 hours per week (3 × 12-hour shifts)
    • 48 hours per week (4 × 12-hour shifts)
