Travel Radiology Technologist position in Lafayette, Indiana.
About the role
This is a travel assignment for a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in radiology within a short-term acute care facility.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10 hours, days (alternating 07:30–18:00 and 06:30–17:00 schedules)
- Employment Type: Travel
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted; in-state rate available for eligible local travelers
- Pending state license accepted if already applied
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures, including STEMI cases
- Scrub experience required for TAVR, Watchman, and ablation procedures
- Maintain sterile field during procedures
- Operate and set up specialized equipment, including Siemens X-Ray systems
- Monitor and record hemodynamic data
- Assist with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker/AICD insertion, and other interventional techniques
- Respond to on-call requirements (10–12 call shifts per month, 30-minute response time, 12–14 hour call duration)
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as required
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- ARRT(R) certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Experience with the following procedures and skills:
- Interventional cardiac catheterization
- STEMI management
- TAVR, Watchman, and ablation procedures
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Angioplasty, stent placement, and rotablator atherectomy
- Pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming
- Siemens X-Ray systems (preferred)
- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays
- Must work a minimum of one winter holiday during assignment
- License must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses acceptable if permanent license application is submitted
- Two supervisor references required
- SSN and DOB required at time of submission

- Call Requirements:
- 10–12 call shifts per month
- 30-minute response time
- Call duration: 12–14 hours (begins at shift completion or 5 PM on non-working days)
- Guaranteed Hours Options:
- 40 hours per week (4 × 10-hour shifts or 5 × 8-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week (3 × 12-hour shifts)
- 48 hours per week (4 × 12-hour shifts)
