Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity using dual identifiers
• Review physician imaging orders
• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations
• Position and transfer patients safely
• Monitor patient condition during imaging
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Upload images to PACS
• Troubleshoot and report equipment issues
• Follow infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• ARRT Certified
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (or eligible)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• 2+ years of X-Ray Technologist experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience
• Operating Room (OR) experience
• Recent C-arm and O-arm experience (within the last 8 months)
• On-call experience
• Portable X-ray experience (if applicable)
