About the Role

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a part-time position with 40 hours biweekly. Shift times are flexible, typically with a 1 to 1.5 hour flex between start times depending on staffing needs. Every other weekend rotation required. One on-call shift per week with the following call schedule: 1st call 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM, 2nd call 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, 3rd call 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM. One holiday worked per contract. This position serves inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural patients across all age ranges including limited pediatrics. Average patient load of 15 to 20 patients per technologist per day.

Responsibilities

  • Perform surgical/procedure imaging, general radiology, and portables
  • Conduct fluoroscopy procedures including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
  • Handle OR cases including orthopedic, general, and spine cases
  • Utilize EMR system: EPIC
  • Operate X-ray equipment: GE, Fuji, and Del Medical
  • Work with PACS system: McKesson
  • Use C-arm equipment: GE 9900, GE Elites, and Medtronic O-arms

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience
  • Highly competent in surgery and procedure experience
  • Fluoroscopy experience required
  • OR experience required including orthopedic, general, and spine cases
  • Mid to high level hospital experience required
  • Required certifications and licenses: ARRT, Wisconsin License, BLS

Qualifications

  • Comfort with O-arm preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients
  • No floating to other units or departments

Facility Information

This facility is a 636-bed Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU holding Magnet Designation and recognized as a Primary Stroke Center. The radiology department features 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, 1 dental room, and is supported by a lead technologist on first shift, a radiologist on site 24/7, a hospitalist 24/7, and an intensivist 24/7.

Pay

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2920. $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
