Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,818 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 16‑week assignment in Berlin, Vermont. The position requires 40 hours per week, working 10‑hour evening shifts, and is offered as a travel employment type. Candidates must have at least one year of radiology technology experience. The role begins immediately.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
• Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for Physician to review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• ARRT (R), BLS, 2 Years (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment)
