Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,805 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract at a hospital in West Bronx, New York. The position offers 34 hours per week with 5-8 hour shifts, including a 1-hour lunch break, totaling 35 guaranteed hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the Cardiology unit
• Aid with interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care

Requirements

• New York State License as an X-ray Technologist
• Certification to inject per the requirements of section 89.40 of part 89
• BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology
• Certified Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCSI) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certified
• Two (2) years’ experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite
