Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,756 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada. This position requires 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts. The role is ideal for a Rad Tech with at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
- Follow physician orders to determine which areas of the patient's body require imaging.
- Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate settings.
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to both yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protective precautions.
- Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ARRT (R) National Certification.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
