Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,680 per week
About the role
This position is a travel Radiology Technologist role based in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Perform chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, portable imaging, fluoroscopy (limited), and C-arm procedures
- Work with inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and pediatric patients (primarily adult population)
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Float throughout the hospital for portable imaging, including OR and ED
- Only 1 X-ray technologist on shift after 10:00 PM
- On-call and holiday coverage required as needed
- 2-3 day orientation based on comfort level
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- First-time travelers with strong background considered
Requirements
- Charting system: EPIC EMR
- Equipment includes Canon portables, GE fluoroscopy, OEC C-arms, and Dell with Canon plates
- PACS: McKesson experience preferred
- Medications dispensed via Pyxis
- Scrub color: Any
- Free parking available
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (Wisconsin license required)
Qualifications
The facility is a 60-bed medical center operating as a Level 3 Trauma Center. It provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including 24/7 hospitalist and respiratory therapy support, and transport services available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The radiology department is equipped with two diagnostic rooms, one fluoroscopy suite, and supports a wide range of imaging needs across multiple departments including the emergency department and operating room.
