Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,630 per week

Job Description

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week, 36-hour-per-week position in West Union, Iowa. The shift is 12 hours, days.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech).
• Must hold BLS certification.
• Must be registered in computed tomography and have state-specific licensing if required.
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Must have ARRT (CT) national certification.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients for CT scanning.
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
