Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,605 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. The position is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. The Rad Tech will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensure image accuracy, prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing, and communicate results to physicians. One year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Follow physician orders regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Correctly position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to self and patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (note: some sections reference 2 years)
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State‑specific licensing where required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

• Shift: 8 hours, days

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
