Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,600 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. Start date is ASAP for a duration of 14 weeks, with 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift as a travel employee.

About the Role

This position is in a Surgical and Clinical Orthopedics environment focusing on General Orthopedic Imaging (X-ray) and specialized care for Limb Lengthening and Bone Deformity Correction. The role requires frequent long-leg imaging (hip to ankle) and may involve working in both surgical and clinical settings. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with confidence in independently operating a C-arm and portable X-ray machine.

Responsibilities

• Perform general orthopedic imaging, including X-rays and specialized views for limb lengthening and bone deformity correction.
• Operate C-arm and portable X-ray machines independently in surgical and clinical settings.
• Conduct frequent long-leg imaging (hip to ankle) in clinics.
• Work with a variety of imaging equipment, including DR GE (rooms and portable), EOS, Standing Foot/Ankle CT scanner, and CRXx.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Perform bedside/portable procedures and trauma imaging as needed.
• Float to offsite locations and affiliate hospitals within scope, as required.

Requirements

• Active BLS and ARRT (R) certifications.
• Valid Maryland or Compact state license at time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience (2 years preferred) in outpatient, inpatient, community hospital, and children’s hospital settings.
• Experience with PACS, portables, and C-arm procedures.
• Proficiency in imaging procedures such as abdomen (decubitus, supine, upright), chest routine, orbits, skull, spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), pelvis, extremities (ankle, knee, hand, wrist, etc.), and trauma imaging.
• Ability to work with patient populations ranging from neonates to older adults.
• No weekends or major holidays; flexibility to work offsite as needed.
• No new graduates; first-time travelers accepted if experienced with C-arm port use.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and ability to work safely and efficiently both independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in OR, ER, or Level I Trauma settings.
• Confidence in working with pediatric patients (ages 1-8 preferred but not required).

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Duration: 14 weeks, starting ASAP.
• No weekend or major holiday shifts.
• Possible requirement to float to offsite locations.
