Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,434 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, at a 60-bed Level 3 Trauma Center hospital near Kenosha, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform chest X-rays, long bone X-rays, C-arm procedures, surgical patient imaging, portable imaging, and limited fluoroscopy
• Work in a 1:1 patient ratio with a 12-hour shift, 36 hours per week
• Operate equipment including Canon portables, GE fluoroscopy, OEC C-arms, and Dell/Canon plate diagnostic rooms
• Use EMR system Epic and PACS McKesson (preferred experience)
• Dispense medications using Med Dispensing system Pyxis
• Handle weekend shifts on Fridays 8:00 AM–8:30 PM and Saturdays–Sundays 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Not require on-call responsibilities
• Float throughout the hospital for portable imaging, including OR and ED

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• Wisconsin state license required if applicable
• Proficiency in chest X-rays, long bone X-rays, C-arm, surgical patient imaging, portable imaging, and fluoroscopy
• Cover letter required
• Pass a drug screen and background check
