Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,432 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts) and requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Follow physicians’ orders regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate position.
• Take appropriate radiation protection precautions to prevent unnecessary exposure to self and patient.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (posting also notes that 2 years may be required).
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (R) National Certification.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
