Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,383 per week
About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Detroit, Michigan. The position requires 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and night shifts. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, hold a BLS certification, and be ARRT (R) certified.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
- Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging areas
- Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
- Calibrate imaging equipment
- Prepare results for physician review
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Use McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) certification
- State-specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
