About the role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting August 10, 2026 at SLMC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a radiologist
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and record keeping
  • Operate various imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and mammography
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Document procedures accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
  • Assist in patient education regarding imaging procedures

Requirements

  • ARRT certification
  • WI State license
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience
  • Comfortable with surgical/procedure, general, portables, mid-high level hospital experience
  • Fluoroscopic skills: ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases
  • OR experience: orthopedic, general, spine procedures
  • Preferred experience with o-arm

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized radiologic technology program
  • Current ARRT certification
  • WI State license
  • BLS certification
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend on-call schedule
  • One call shift per week
  • Flexibility in start times depending on staffing needs
  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
  • One day off during the week leading up to work weekends and one day off the week following work weekends
