Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,331 per week
About the role
TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an immediate 13‑week assignment in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The position is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week on 10‑hour night shifts. As a Rad Tech you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, produce accurate images for physician interpretation, and prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
- Follow physician orders regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
- Correctly position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate position
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
- Calibrate imaging equipment
- Prepare results for physician review
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (note: one section references 2 years; verify with recruiter)
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) National Certification
- State‑specific licensing where required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

- 10‑hour night shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
