About the Role
The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment functionality, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders
- Maintain equipment and sterilize procedure rooms
- Evaluate images for quality and present images/preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintain and inspect imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
- Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
- Other certifications and licenses may be required
Skills

- Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and use PC skills
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain professionalism
- Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and equipment operation
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and cope with irregular schedules
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, nights
