About the role
Radiology Technologist position available in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Perform x-rays and other diagnostic imaging examinations on patients.
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Oregon.
- Experience in acute care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care protocols and safety standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam.
Skills
- Proficient in operating x-ray and MRI equipment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
- Attention to detail for accurate image capture and patient care.
