Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,174 per week

About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment functionality, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
• Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders
• Maintain and sterilize procedure rooms and imaging equipment
• Evaluate images for quality and present images/preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams
• Inspect and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report malfunctions as needed
• Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
• Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice

Requirements

• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
• Additional certifications and licenses may be required
