Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of imaging procedures according to established policies and procedures.
• Works at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.
• Provides straightforward explanations and instructions to patients.
• Helps foster patient comfort and confidence.
• Ensures individual patient needs are met.
• Operates and maintains assigned imaging department equipment, including X‑ray.
• Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture physician‑requested images.
• Performs imaging exams as ordered according to established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Ensures the physician on duty is notified of results.

Requirements

• 2+ years of X‑Ray experience (required)
• Travel experience (required)
• Health system‑wide profile standards apply
• ARRT certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
