About the Role
This travel position is for a Radiologic Technologist performing advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment. The role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment functionality, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and address their questions.
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as per physician orders.
- Maintain and sterilize the procedure room and imaging equipment.
- Evaluate images for quality and present them with preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams.
- Inspect and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
- Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
- Perform other duties within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license compliant with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ARRT Certification (preferred).

- Physical Abilities: Must be able to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures using department equipment.
- Mental Requirements: Ability to cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, work with occasional supervision, and handle irregular schedules.
- Sensory: Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- 40 hours per week.
- Shift: 8 hours, days.
