About the Role

This is a travel position with the following details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Location: Facility in Poplar Bluff, Missouri
  • Start Date: 09/21/2026

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
  • Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders
  • Maintain equipment and sterilize procedure rooms
  • Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams
  • Maintain and inspect imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions
  • Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice

Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Proficiency in reading/comprehending written instructions, following verbal instructions, and PC skills

  • Interpersonal Skills: Must work effectively with various personnel, present a positive attitude, and maintain professionalism
  • Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures using department equipment
  • Mental Requirements: Must cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, and handle irregular activity schedules
