About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging including portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical procedures
- Operate GE fixed and portable imaging equipment, Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
- Chart in Cerner Rad Net
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic technology
- ARRT (R) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging
- Experience with ED trauma imaging required
- Fluoroscopic procedure experience preferred
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates will be accepted
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Schedule
- Shift: Days, 3x12hr shifts
- Hours: 36 hrs/wk
- Shift runs from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
- Weekend rotation required
- Start Date: Aug 31, 2026
- Length: 13 weeks
Work environment
- Hospital-based diagnostic radiology department (DX) located on the 2nd floor of the F tower
- 800-bed facility with technologists and supervisors across day, evening, and night shifts
