About the Role

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate results.

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients about imaging procedures and address their questions.
  • Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders.
  • Maintain and sterilize procedure rooms and imaging equipment.
  • Evaluate images for quality and present images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
  • Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
  • Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.

Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current ARRT Certification.
  • Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position.

  • Critical Thinking & Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; proficiency in PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures using department equipment.
  • Mental Requirements: Ability to cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, work with occasional supervision, and handle irregular schedules while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Sensory: Visual acuity and effective communication abilities.

Schedule

  • Duration: 13 weeks.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • Shift: 12 hours, days.
  • Employment Type: Travel.
