About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lorain, Ohio. This position requires 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
  • Follow physician orders to determine which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
  • Correctly position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate position.
  • Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
  • Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ARRT (R) National Certification.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
