Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,042 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Miami, Florida. This is a travel position with 40 hours per week on 8-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Follow physician orders regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to self and patient
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)

• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
