Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,968 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 9-week assignment starting August 16, 2026 in Boise, Idaho.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
  • Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
  • Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position
  • Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
  • Calibrate imaging equipment
  • Prepare results for Physician to review
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of experience
  • Must have BLS
  • Must have ARRT (R) National Certification
  • Must have state-specific licensing when required
  • Should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
  • Should have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Qualifications

  • ARRT (R)
  • BLS
  • 2 Years of experience

Skills

  • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Benefits

  • Pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
