About the role

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a position in Detroit, Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, etc.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
  • Accurately document patient information and procedures in medical records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide necessary reports.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Experience in performing X-ray procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited radiography program.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

  • Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Pay

Schedule

8-hour shifts, nights only, 40 hours per week.
