Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,925 per week

About the Role
As a Travel Radiologic Technologist, you will perform advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate results.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and address their questions.
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders.
- Maintain and sterilize the procedure room and imaging equipment.
- Evaluate images for quality and present them with preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams.
- Inspect and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
- Follow hospital safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety.
- Perform additional duties within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice as assigned.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ARRT Certification (preferred).
- Additional certifications and licenses may be required.

- Physical Abilities: Must be able to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate professionalism.
- Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and operate department equipment.
- Mental Requirements: Ability to cope with public interactions, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision or independently, and handle irregular schedules while maintaining attention to detail.
- Sensory: Visual acuity and effective communication abilities.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Hours: 36 hours per week.
- Shift: 12 hours, nights.
