About the role
Radiologic technologists specialize in x-ray and computed tomography (CT) imaging. They perform x-rays and other diagnostic imaging examinations on patients. MRI technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Perform x-ray and CT imaging procedures
- Operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures
- Position patients appropriately for imaging
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Document patient information accurately
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Follow radiation safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 32.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
