About the role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 25-week assignment starting September 21, 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general X-ray procedures including imaging of head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, chest.
  • Comfortable with trauma patients.
  • Operate portable equipment at the bedside for spinal, orthopedic, general surgery, neurology, and pediatrics.
  • Experience with C-arm and O-arm systems is preferred.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
  • May be asked to precept x-ray students.

Requirements

  • 2 years of acute care experience, preferably with trauma level experience (Level I, II, or III).
  • BLS certification and ARRT-R certification required.
  • EPIC experience required.
  • Confident clinical skills, good communication, and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina.
  • Will accept first-time travelers with trauma facility experience.

Skills

  • General X-ray skills.
  • Portables at bedside.
  • C-arm experience.
  • O-arm experience preferred.
  • EPIC experience.
  • Soft skills: confident clinical skills, good communication, helpful attitude, teamwork.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Travelers would work the same shift and times as agreed upon in the contract, with a 13-week contract period. Shift times refer to the requisition, and travelers would work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

Orientation

Facility and departmental tours with introductions, up to 5 days max departmental orientation, but flexible based on traveler needs. Shift times and schedule cycle are as per the contract.

Support

  • Lead Tech Supervisor 24/7 for staffing support.
  • Manager works with MD residents and fellows.
  • Other Rad Techs available during shifts.

Technology/Equipment

  • EMR: EPIC – required.
  • Department specific equipment: Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad room, Konica and Shimadzu portables, Philips C-arm, Philips O-arm.
  • Floating: Only to the different areas of x-ray and for portables in this facility.
