About the role
Radiologic technologists specialize in x-ray and computed tomography (CT) imaging. They perform x-rays and other diagnostic imaging examinations on patients. MRI technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Perform x-ray and CT imaging procedures
- Operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures
- Position patients appropriately for imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Document patient information accurately
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
Requirements
- Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
