Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,895 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 14-week assignment in Syracuse, New York. This is a travel position with a rotating 10-hour shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients
• Follow physician orders to determine the correct area of the body for imaging
• Position patients and adjust imaging equipment appropriately
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self through proper precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
