About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
  • Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
  • Maintain equipment and sterilize procedure rooms.
  • Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions.
  • Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.

Requirements

  • One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
  • Current ARRT Certification (preferred).
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required.

  • Proficiency in reading/comprehending written instructions, following verbal instructions, and PC skills.
  • Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
  • Ability to work effectively with various personnel, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Technical/motor skills to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures.
  • Mental resilience to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work under close supervision or independently.
  • Ability to handle irregular activity schedules and maintain continuous concentration on detail.
  • Visual acuity and effective communication skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 30 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
