Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,856 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The position requires 1 year of experience, BLS certification, ARRT (R) national certification, and state-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
