Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,801 per week

Travel Radiology Technologist position in Lake Worth, FL. 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts. Immediate opening for candidates with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients with reassurance and support
• Follow physician orders to determine which areas of the patient's body require imaging
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment to the appropriate position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to both patient and self by taking appropriate protection precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
