Reedsport, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point and North Bend are all locations near Bay Area Hospital that offer housing options with a 30-minute scenic commute. This is a union position with a non-negotiable hourly pay rate determined by years of experience.

Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00/hour | 19% Perm Placement Fee | $5,000 - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Offered

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages.
• Applies principles, theories, and techniques of pertinent modality to provide reliable test results.
• Provides daily leadership of patient and department workflow.
• On-call and weekend shifts possible.

Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position.
• Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment.
• Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally with the public.
• Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think, and act independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (in relevant modality).
• Current Oregon license or recent graduate of an approved program with a valid temporary Oregon permit. Registry must be obtained within one year if holding a temporary permit.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Image Wisely pledge certificate (or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter).
• Image Gently pledge certificate (or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter).
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of previous experience in a hospital setting preferred (willing to consider new graduates or candidates with less experience).
