About the role
X-ray Technologist position located at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate patient positioning, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Schedule
- Rotation with shifts beginning between 1 PM and 3 PM
- Shift length of 10 hours
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Ensure accurate patient positioning
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Demonstrate proficiency with C-arm and O-arm prior to case performance
Requirements
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
- Active BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent radiology technology experience
- North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) Licensure or willingness to apply within 48 hours of acceptance
- Experience with portables, ER, C-arm, and general radiography procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
- General radiographic competencies including radiographic positioning, image processing, quality control, and radiation protection
- Must send fingerprints to the NDMIRT licensing office (not to the ND BCI) to expedite licensing
- Must badge in and out at the facility
- Scrubs required in gray
- Must have not worked for Sanford Health within the past 6 months if previously employed there
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fluoroscopy, swallow studies, cystograms, and orthopedic procedures
- Prior experience in trauma or emergency radiography

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
