About the role
Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Madison, Wisconsin, starting 12/07/2026. The position is 40 hours per week with 10-hour evening shifts, Wednesday through Tuesday, and requires availability for holidays and standby call.
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts from 14:15 to 00:15
- Assignments Wednesday through Tuesday
- Must be available to work holidays
- Standby call participation required
Qualifications
- Current RRT certification
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Active Wisconsin state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a respiratory therapy role
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy and assist in the development of treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patients' progress and reactions to treatment, adjusting care as necessary
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on proper respiratory care techniques and treatments
Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
