Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technician) in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves performing and providing appropriate imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. The position requires maintaining equipment, assessing patient safety and comfort, and coordinating daily imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Every other weekend
- One on-call shift every three weeks
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
Responsibilities
- Perform and provide appropriate imaging procedures
- Maintain imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care
- Monitor patient safety and comfort
- Coordinate daily imaging procedures in a clinical setting
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment
- Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school
- New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
- ARRT BLS certification
