Travel Radiology Technician assignment in Duluth, Minnesota, specializing in routine X-ray procedures within a hospital setting. The role involves working in various hospital departments, including the operating room, outpatient, emergency department, and fluoroscopy.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine X-ray procedures in a hospital environment
- Work across multiple departments: operating room, outpatient, emergency department, and fluoroscopy
- Adapt to rotating shifts, including potential overnight, weekend, and holiday rotations
- Float across surgery, outpatient, emergency, and fluoroscopy departments as required
- Use Electronic Prescription for Imaging and Communication (EPIC Radiant) for charting
- Wear department-provided teal scrub color
- Respond to call-backs within 30 minutes, with a minimum two-hour call-back requirement
- Comply with flu season vaccination requirements or wear masks if vaccination is declined
Requirements
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification
- Associate Degree or Certificate from an accredited radiologic technology program
- Minimum 3 years of experience in radiologic technology
- Experience with EPIC Radiant charting
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfort working in the operating room
- Experience with routine X-ray and portable imaging in hospital settings
- Familiarity with surgery, outpatient, emergency, and fluoroscopy environments
Schedule
- Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Orientation hours not guaranteed
- Contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; travelers may be on call during these periods
