MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality X-Ray Tech for a 13‑week travel contract in Salem, Massachusetts. The assignment starts 11/15/2026, runs 40 hours per week on 10‑hour evening shifts.
Requirements
- Completion of a two‑year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
- Two years of X‑Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Responsibilities
- Obtain useful diagnostic details to help physicians determine further treatment
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams
- Produce x‑ray films of body parts for diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures
- Instruct patients on proper positioning to achieve accurate images
- Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines
- Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner
- Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality care
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
