Travel Radiology Technician - $2,435 per week

About the role

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist (X‑Ray Technologist) for a 13‑week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii, starting November 9, 2026. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour flexible shifts. Travelers must arrive on the island the Friday prior to the Monday start for HR/EH clearance, and no requests for time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment, including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C‑arms, and portable DR equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in radiation safety and protocols.
• Function independently without supervision to provide quality imaging services.
• Utilize Epic EMR and other related technologies effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Assigned dosimetry badge.
• Preferred: Experience with Philips DR and C‑arms, OEC C‑arms, and Philips Fluoro.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Epic EMR.
